I offer composition and arranging guidance for young musicians and adults — from writing your first brass piece to developing full orchestral or film-style scores.

We’ll focus on what matters most to you: orchestration, structure, musical storytelling, or polishing your scores for performance or recording.

My goal is to make composing approachable, creative, and fun — whether you’re aiming for the concert hall or the big screen.

Sessions are available online or in person, and I’m always happy to chat first about what you’d like to learn.

I also teach brass with my specialism in low brass. If you are starting out learning a brass instrument or want to improve your skills I would love to hear from you.
